LBJ TROPICAL MEDICAL
CENTER RECEIVES $82,000 INTERIOR
OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
GRANT FOR FY 2003
The LBJ Tropical Medical Center
has received an $82,000 Interior Operations and Maintenance Grant from the US
Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs for Fiscal Year 2003.
The grant will be used to pay for the
costs of air-conditioned chiller training and for a consultant.
In his letter
of thanks to OIA Director Nikolao Pula, Governor Tauese Sunia said: “I very
much appreciate your awarding this grant to our Territory. The efficiency of the
LBJ Hospital will be greatly improved as a result of this award.”
