RECEIVES $69,000 FY 2003 TECHNICAL
ASSISTANCE GRANT The Development Bank of American Samoa has received a Technical Assistance Grant (No. AS-133), from the US Department of the Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs in the amount of $69,000 for Fiscal Year 2003. The grant will
be used to retain the services of an experienced accounting consultant for one
year. The consultant’s duties are as follows: In his letter
of thanks to OIA Director Nikolao Pula, Governor Tauese Sunia said: “I very
much appreciate your awarding this grant to our Territory. Please rest assured
that we will put this much-needed award to good use, with the help of the
accounting consultant whom you mentioned in your letter. The completion of the
appraisal work will improve the DBAS’s performance to a considerable degree,
and I trust that you will be pleased with the result.” |
